How Does ESTA Approval Work?

After you submit your ESTA application, U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) electronically reviews your information. One of three outcomes will be issued:

• ✅ Approved – You’re authorized to travel to the U.S.
• ⏳ Pending – A decision will be emailed within 72 hours
• ❌ Denied – You must apply for a visa at a U.S. embassy

🔒 Note: ESTA approval allows you to board a flight, but final entry is determined by a U.S. immigration officer at the border.
